What does dial-up internet service mean?
A customer can access the Internet through the POTS (plain old telephone service), both download and upload. This is basic access and not considered broadband (broadband is considered a minimum of 200 kbs download).

What upload and download speeds can be expected?
Up to 56 kbs. This is the typical speed provided by all dial-up Internet Service Providers.

What is the monthly charge?
$16.95 plus applicable taxes.

Is there a minimum contract period?
No contract is required; therefore there is no minimum contract period.

What services do I receive from the dial-up offering?

• Tech support available 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; Saturday 9am-1pm
• Spam and virus filters
• Unlimited access 24/7.
• Five e-mail accounts
• Additional e-mail addresses $2.50/mo.

Do I have to be a Northeastern REMC member?
No, the service is available to anyone, anywhere in the US and Canada.

How is payment made?
Credit card or ACH/EFT only. The service is prepaid monthly (pay a month ahead for service you will receive during the next month).
